Workshop on Ruby on Rails

Tech-Era-Computer Society of P.G. department of Computer Science & Applications, Khalsa College Amritsar organized workshop on “Ruby on Rails”Oct 07, 2015.

The members of HCL CDC, Mohali conducted the workshop and the objective of this workshop was to develop web applications using this language. They discussed that Ruby is an upcoming programming language which shortens the lines of code. This is an open source web framework for developing database backed web applications. An aptitude test was also conducted by HCL in which 30 students were selected for training in HCL, Mohali.

Principal Dr. Mehal Singh welcomed the delegates of HCL and said that this kind of workshops enhances the knowledge of students.He also appreciated the efforts of Covenor Prof. Harbhajan Singh and Co-ConvenorProf. Sukhwinder Kaur for their efforts of organizing this workshop for the students. Prof. Harbhajan Singh, Head of Department gave vote of thanks. He said that Tech-Era-Computer society will keep on organizing such type of workshops.Event Coordinators Prof. Ravi Patni& Prof. Simranjeet Kaur were also present.
