Agriculture Society (2023-24) of P.G. Department of Agriculture organized Awareness Programme on ‘Paddy Residue Management’ on 07.11.2023. The following contests were organized on the occasion :-

1) Poster Presentation on Social Awareness on Stubble Burning/ Residue Management.

2) Models on Innovative ways of managing Paddy Residue.

3) Poetry Presentation.

Dr. Jatinder Singh Gill CAO, Amritsar presided one the function. He along with senior staff (S. Satnam Singh, Dr. Gurbax Singh, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Kanwaljit Singh, Dr. Amarjeet Kaur and Dr. Lavleen Kaur) judged participants of various categories. Dr. Gill commended the winners for their bright and innovative ideas of managing paddy residue and their impeccable technique of presentation.
